This compact ball valve is installed on the wastewater tank of a railway carriage. The Camlock connection used is a globally widespread, tool-free quick coupling. This ensures that the ball valve can be quickly connected to disposal stations, such as at railway stations, allowing the corresponding tank to be emptied efficiently.
To save weight in accordance with customer specifications, the ball valve housing was structurally optimized and redesigned in selected areas. The ball valve is operated manually via a hand lever.
